Sphere meets cone: the wide conical bowl chills quickly and gives a cocktail room to breathe, while the spherical base fits naturally in the palm, keeping the drink cold without a stem to grip. At 5 oz., it’s sized for a well-made cocktail. Handblown in Vermont, with subtle variations in each piece. One of the most original forms in the Simon Pearce collection, and one of the few that works just as well for mocktails and specialty soft drinks as it does for spirits.

TOOL MARKS

Lines or impressions left by molds and hand tools—visible traces of the process that shapes each piece.

VARIATIONS IN FORM

Occasional larger bubbles or clustered air pockets captured during the molten process.

Frequently asked questions

Seconds are fully functional pieces that don’t meet our strict visual standards. Because every item is made by hand, small variations naturally occur throughout the making process. Some seconds reflect the learning curve of new artisans or the refinement of a new design, while others simply fall outside our tolerance guidelines. When this happens, the piece is designated as a second and offered at a reduced price.

Seconds are typically offered at 10%–30% off the original price, depending on the piece.

Seconds may include subtle differences in shape, size, or finish. Common variations can include:

1. Slight dimensional differences beyond our tolerance range, typically ⅛"– ½".
2. Small bubbles within the glass.
3. A gentle wobble that does not affect stability.
4. Occasional stones or cords in the glass, which reflect the molten material and furnace environment.

These variations are visual in nature and part of the handmade process. Pieces that are unsafe, sharp, or unstable are never offered as seconds.

No. Because seconds celebrate variation, each piece is unique and may differ from the product photography shown. That individuality is part of what makes seconds special.

No. All seconds are final sale.

Seconds are not eligible for gift boxing or wrapping. However, you may contact our Customer Care team to purchase a gift box separately if available. Gift messages may still be added at checkout.

    Great Glasses!

    These are lovely! Cannot believe they are "seconds!" Loving Simon Pearce, my new source for non-toxic and highest quality glassware! These Martini glasses are just soooooooo nice!! Love them! May be some "variance" in base level, height, whatever. No matter: They are perfect examples for my bar, and are just F-ING fabulous!! Love them!
